CLOTHING AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS
What do I need to wear while I take part in Borneo Mud Challenge Race
For Borneo Mud Challenge, we recommend trail running shoes which have a suitable grip since the Racer will faced an Extreme Mud Condition along the race obastacale. Your shoes must be fully enclosed. We recommend light weight clothes which are quick to dry so that when you are in mud or water, you will dry off quickly and not retain all of the water. If you wear shorts or long compression tights is up to you although be sure to expect the clothes which you wear to possibly be torn or damaged in some way. If you wear gloves or not is a personal choice, some find them to be an advantage when gripping obstacles and others find them very uncomfortable. This one is up to you and of course optional. If your timing is important to you then you will need to wear a watch as there will be no official clocks to show time at the event. We also recommend you to bring a change of clothes for you to wear after.
What should I carry with me? Should I have a back pack to carry my phone and other personal belongings?
The less you carry the better. If it is possible, do not carry anything! Some obstacles will require you to be fully submerged in water. We recommend that you do not carry anything at all. Organizer will not responsible on any damage or lost of personal valuable items.
Do I need to wear running shoes?
Yes! Wear safe, enclosed running shoes! For Borneo Mud Challenge, you will be running on rough terrains and it is advisable for you to wear shoes that are designed for such (trail running shoes for example).
